Pieces, packs and sets: what are you getting?
A piece count tells you how many components are in a pack. It may not tell you how many complete assemblies you can make.
Read the pack contents first.
Pieces (pcs) counts individual components. A pack is the sale unit you add to the cart. A set describes a combination of parts; use the product's contents list to see what is included.
A SIMPLE EXAMPLE
A hypothetical 300-piece assortment with 100 bolts, 100 nuts and 100 washers contains 100 bolt-and-nut assemblies with one washer each. It does not contain 300 complete assemblies.
Compare like with like.
- Match the component type and dimensions.
- Check how the total is split across sizes.
- Choose the exact SKU, color and pack quantity.
On KPX, a cart quantity of 2 means two packs of the selected option. Different options can have different pack contents.
For an assortment, a larger total is only useful if it includes the sizes your project needs.
